mosaic 2 is now compatible with Parallels Desktop. This allows use on a Mac with an Intel processor or on a Mac with an Apple M-series chip.

mosaic 2's graphics engine has been optimized for Liquid Retina XDR displays on 14" and 16" MacBook Pro with Apple M1 Pro chip. These displays benefit from ProMotion technology with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This makes it possible to obtain exceptional fluidity and sharpness in the scrolling of the rythmo band.

The Avid Satellite Link synchronization solution is now available in Mosaic Studio from version 2.0.4.0. It enables you to connect Mosaic’s and Pro Tools’ transport controls so as to obtain accurate, reactive synchronization in all situations.

By using a simple Ethernet network, Satellite Link enables you to control up to 12 Pro Tools and Mosaic systems. Thanks to this new functionality, you can use Mosaic’s many transport controls to control Pro Tools directly without having to add materials as is required with the RS-422 solution. For Foley recording sessions, Satellite Link enables perfectly fluid read back.
