Recommended configuration

Noblurway Mosaic can be easily integrated with market main recording stations (Pro Tools, Pyramix, Nuendo…).
We will detail, below, the required hardware in order to use Noblurway Mosaic in studio.

Here are the specifications to know in order to ensure a proper operation in studio.

  • Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 (32 or 64 bits)
  • Processor Intel i5, i7 or Xeon with a frequency higher to 3.0 GHz
  • AMD FirePro or NVIDIA Quadro graphic cards
  • 4 Go RAM or more
  • SATA Hard drive (7200 lap per minute or higher)

We recommend you to use HP Z440 workstations with a XEON processor and Windows 7 64 bits.

The display of the video and the rythmo will be done with a projector or a big TV screen.
In order to ensure the readability and the sharpness of the scrolling rythmo (no blur), we recommend to use the following equipment.

  • DLP 3D projector with a 120 Hz display frequency (we recommend some OPTOMA projectors, please contact us).
  • Plasma TV screen.

The synchronization of Noblurway Mosaic with the recording station is done with the reading of a LTC signal (chase time code), or with a RS-422 interface. Here is the required equipment for these 2 solutions.

  • LTC (Chase time code): an Adrienne Electronics PCI or PCIe card (for example PCI-LTC RDR).
  • RS-422: an USB422V CB Electronics interface.
  • Video reference (RS-422): a video reference generator (for example MUTEC MC3.3).
